The Kappa Foundation of Prince George’s County, Inc., receives $12,500 grant from the State Farms Insurance Co.  The grant is the second donation awarded to the Foundation to support its fundraising efforts to sponsor the Kappa League Leadership Development Program. The program is designed to address many of the issues facing African-American males through a variety of youth development activities to include academic enrichment, career exploration, college readiness, leadership development, and cultural and self-improvement experiences. The grant will enable the more than 30 young men enrolled in the program to attend a variety of leadership development conferences, summer camp, and college tours to HBCUs this year.
