Ronald D. Henderson, Ph.D

Ronald D. Henderson is a 1967 graduate of Wayne State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Education. He later received his Master of Education in Social Foundations and Education from Wayne State in 1969 and his Doctor of Philosophy from Michigan State University in 1972.
He began his career as a teacher in the Detroit Public School System where he a taught both Science and Math, as well as Introductory Sociology at Wayne County Community College. He later joined the Department of Sociology at the University of Florida where he taught such classes as Introductory Sociology, Honors Seminar, and Survey Methods. He has dedicated his life to field of education and has numerous books, publications, and awards to his credit. Dr. Henderson retired from his role as Director of Research at the National Education Association after a stellar 28-year career.
Dr. Henderson currently resides in the Prince George’s County area.
