ABOUT

Purpose

The Kappa Foundation of Prince George’s County was incorporated in June 2018 and received its 501 (C) (3) designation in October 2019.  The Foundation primarily serves as the philanthropic and charitable arm of the Hyattsville/Landover (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  Our vision is to serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration by supporting initiatives that empower young people to reach their full potential and to address the needs of the broader Prince George’s County community.

Mission

Mission of the Kappa Foundation of Prince George’s County is to conduct fundraising activities to provide financial revenue for academic enrichment and youth leadership development programs, scholarships and awards, and other community outreach projects.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is comprised of a diverse group of men working in unity to build and sustain the Foundation as a vibrant organization within the community. They are dedicated to making the vision of the Foundation a reality by supporting initiatives that empower youth to strive for excellence and improve the quality of life for residents in need of a hand-up.
